Cleanroom to Cleanroom
To meet specific cleanliness requirements for the supply of equipment or parts, there is no other way than to manage risks across the entire chain. This is why we start with the end in mind and than calculate back to the first step. To ensure your product arrives intact and ultra-clean, it must first be packed clean in a packaging that keeps it free of contamination and disruption. Finally, it should be unpacked and reassembled whithout any risk of contamination. From cleanroom to cleanroom, that's what we're all about.
Design & Production
Every project is tailor made. It all starts with the technical design of the right packaging. Based on in-depth inventory, we jointly determine the design requirements that combine cost optimization as well as risk management. In our fully equipped test facility, we subject the prototype of the packaging to tests that simulate the conditions during transport. This happens according to certified methods to ensure that the packaging demonstrably meets all the requirements. Is the design successfully approved? Then we proceed to serial production of your packaging.
Testing
Meilink has a unique range of testing facilities that covers the entire journey from Cleanroom to Cleanroom, by measuring the impact of vibrations, shocks, corrosion, temperature change and climatic conditions. We know the functional requirements that products and packaging are required to meet, as well as the regulatory norms and obligations. This enables us to advise you on the required or most appropriate testing programs. Meilink is certified by Amazon to test and certify (packaged) products and officially included as a member in the Amazon Packaging Support and Supplier Network (APASS). In addition, we are ISTA-certified, in accordance with the International Safe Transit Association.
High Precision Cleaning
The next step is to make sure your products or parts are guaranteed clean before putting them into their packaging.We are a leader in this field. Meilink has unique expertise and high-tech tooling. And most importantly, Innovar is accredited for the highest cleanliness requirements such as Grade I. After cleaning down to particle level, we ensure with RGA testing that your product demonstrably meets the applicable cleanliness requirements.
Cleanroom Packaging
So, if your product as well as its casing are ultra-clean, how do you make sure that no contamination takes place during the packaging process? Meilink works with specialized personnel and special equipment to pack your product in the Meilink packaging under controlled conditions. This requires knowledge of both your product or components and the custom packaging. Again, the power of expertise across the total chain applies. At Meilink, this is automatically integrated in each step in the project.
Transport Packaging
After your product has been secured in the clean packaging, it can leave the clean room through the so-called grey area to be provided with robust transport packaging. For this packaging, we cooperate with the production facilities of Meilink. Meilink is one of the largest producers of industrial packaging solutions for the manufacturing industry. Securing Value is what all parts of Meilink strive for.
Send
Already at the design phase of your product and its packaging, we take into account the requirements and circumstances of the transport modality. We take care of the optimal arrangements in terms of time, technical capacity, cost and availability. Cleanroom to Cleanroom mostly means a combination of sea or air freight for long distances and subsequent road transport to the loading and unloading platform at the destination.
Unpacking
Same as when your product went on transport, the clean packaging needs to be taken out of the industrial transport packaging in the grey room (semi-clean environment) at the customer's site. Next, your product will have to be properly removed from its Meilink packaging and assembled in the cleanroom. To do this, we can offer support by sending one of our specialists to the location on site. In addition, Meilink is also a member of INPRO, which allows us to provide a local specialist in a large number of countries.
Return4Reuse
With the Return4Reuse program, we ensure that your valuable packaging can be used multiple times. Not only does this prevent the waste of valuable materials, but it also saves time and money. After well-protected transport of your goods, your packaging and reusable packaging components go back to our refurbishing center in Schijndel. There they are checked and made fully fit for the next transport. Return for Reuse: sustainable and time- and cost-saving!
